Singing a slovenian song in Maputo

Yesterday evening was a special one for me. When walking home on Ahmed Sekou-Toure ave in Maputo, I coincidentally dropped to some party, actually a celebration of some military services community. The celebration was just 50m before my home destination at Centro Social on a parking place. People were joyful and kind to me. They invited me to celebrate with them. It happened spontaneuosly that I was invited to the stage. I asked for guitar and sang 'V dolini tihi', originally written by Lojze Slak from Slovenia. People liked it, it was kind of brasilian version.:) Then I sang samba called 'Brasil' but changed the lyrics in chorus to 'Mozambique'. And then we sang together 'How deep is your love' from Bee Gees. And the last song was some brasilian bossa nova mix improvisation, improvised also by another singer next to me. Applause was nice.:) Some other very good artist played after me. After that the chief (big boss) went to the stage and was talking about me in portuguese, so I don't know exactly what he said.:) Anyway I understood he mentioned me and my country Slovenia (Eslovenia) and after then there was a big applause from his collegues.:) When he sit down, I went to him, shaked his hand and huged him. The party was close to over. I left. But I have a telephone number from Tom, another guy I was speaken to, so we'll keep in touch.:)
The way to the party
Next day at hotel Polana
